THE HASSLE-FREE CHAINLESS CHAIN

The new project requires a chain of 53; the next step is to slip stitch and connect the chain. You do exactly so! Next, you must double crochet across the chain for two rows. You do that and discover that the foundation chain has a few drooping stitches. You pull all your hard work out, start over and the same situation is upon you...STOP IT. Start your beloved project with the chainless chain. Drooping will be a thing of the past! CHAINLESS CHAIN INSTRUCTIONS: ▪Make a slip knot, chain 3, double or single crochet into the first stitch, yarn over and crochet behind the double stitch that was formed. You will find that a stitch was created...just like magic. Continue this pattern until the desired length is created.  You will love it & "GOODBYE" to drooping stitches!! D. "DON'T LET FROGGING GET THE BEST OF YOU"

There is absolutely no way to make that dark word sound pretty; mention frogging around individuals who knit and crochet and surely you might hear, "UGH!" Frogging can be concluded as the ugliest term in modern crafting glossaries. However, in the past and for some reason, frogging was not listed within any written crafting works for crafters to note its existence. Crafters were aware of what it was, but it formally didn't have a name, or something as such. So, what is frogging? You have spent two weeks crocheting a beautiful cardigan, and as you are placing it into a gift box, you realize you missed a stitch- leaving a tiny hole located on the third row.  The cardigan has forty-two plus rows. It's time to start frogging. Yeah, it can be an ugly situation...it can bring the most experienced crafters to tears. Take deep Breaths and take a break!!! Yes, you must pull the project apart (frogging) and start again, if desired, at the second row. For most, a...

"YOU BETTER BLOCK THOSE PRETTY SQUARES"

After you have exhausted yourself with crafting piles and more piles of all those granny squares required to complete an extra long cardigan or a king-size bedspread, feeling overwhelmed, you might be tempted to sew your project together before advancing to the next (possibly dreaded) step of blocking.  It has been a long crafting journey, and you just-want it all to end. You want to finally see the big payoff and soak in that lovely, feeling of accomplishment. (At this point, it's not unusual to feel tired, or even bored and want to quickly move on to the next project). It is time to do something different! You decide: Yes, definitely skip the blocking process.  Another scenario: New crafters might not be aware of the blocking technique, various ways to do it, blocking boards and the different types. Advice: Don't dare do it. Don't take the short road to the finish line. Take that extra time to block every-last-square to reveal the true beauty of...
